As the weather drastically changes from the rays of Summer to the crisp of Autumn, we notice one thing that always seems to suffer and that the havoc the wintery blows wreak on our skin and hands. As the weather changes so suddenly here in London I always find my skin suffers with the climate change.

ARK have created the perfect solution to look after those precious paws throughout the winter months and beyond. The fast absorbing formula instantly soothes dry, irritated hands whilst protecting them. This Hero hand cream’s concentrated moisturising action helps to reduce brown spots  caused by aging and excessive exposure to sunlight it also helps to diminish signs of dehydrated brittle nails. This product really does live up to its hype. The cream is lovely and soft and absorbs completely on application leaving no residue or stickiness, it deeply moisturises your mits keeping them well moisturised throughout with only applications needed after using the ladies room of course and those, who like me, like to excessively wash your hands!!

After attending the Caudalie event a few weeks back we were given some goodies of the range to try out! So as promised on my previous post here are the reviews on the range!!

Caudalie Instant Foaming Cleanser £14.50- This light, gentle cleanser transforms into a lovely airy foam which provides a gentle but soap free cleansing. I used this cleanser all throughout my Holiday to Greece. It was lovely and light to use and cleansed my skin throughly, even though I’m not much of a sun worshipper, you obviously do catch some rays that may make your skin a little sensitive even if you are wearing the highest factor available, I found this cleanser to be the perfect solution. Apply two pumps and sweep on the face in gentle circular motions. Only downer is that it stings like a bitch when it gets in your eyes! Would have been perfect if this was gentle on the eyes!! However this will not stop me from re-buying!!

VinoPerfect Day Perfecting Cream £35.50- Now this product really is one of a kind!! I suffer with a very odd un even skin tone, where my cheeks are very pale and the rest of my face is a shade or two darker. I have been using this cream for around two weeks and the difference is uncanny!! This moisturiser has what Caudalie like to call ‘The Invisible Shield’ which helps to protect your skin from the sun and the effects of free radicals. Main Ingredients: anti-dark spot and radiance boosting Viniferine triturated at 500ppm, gentle grape acid exfoliator, soothing candeia and many more. Since using the VinoPrefect Day Perfecting Cream, my skin tone has evened out at a noticeable level, the duey glow has returned and I even get compliments day in day out on how good my skin looks. I recommend this product to anyone suffering from un even skin tone, sun spots and also Asian skin tones who are known sufferers of un-even skin tones.

VinoSource Quenching Sorbet-Creme £20- Finally the ‘pier de resistance’ Caudalie’s newest launch. Inspired by the grapevine, which regulates its own water to counter climate changes, this amazing moisturiser really helps to restore your skins hydration levels. Many of us who think we drink plenty of water to keep us hydrated all over would be surprised to learn that our skin may well be very parched. This amazing formula (which is suitable for the most sensitive skin types, patch test always recommended) allows deep hydration which leaves your skin velvety smooth and luminous.  A great starting point if you are new to the Caudalie range, It will really prepare your skin to the level it should be and from there you can then go on to a more prescribed regime of the range which suits your needs. All in all a brilliant, simple product with maximum results!!

Amie Skincare was created by Ex Estee Lauder Marketing Executive, Fiona Parkhouse. Fiona was inspired by her daughters struggle to find gentle but affective and affordable products for her teenage skin.

I have been using the Amie range on and off for the last month or so, I get such a back log and many request to test out products, so please bare with me :). Heres what I thought of the range:

Amie Spring Clean Cooling Clay Mask- Formulated with white clay which helps to draw out deep-set impurities , control oil and blemishes, this fruity smelling mask really is a treat!! Active ingredients include Organic Peppermint, Lime Butter and Natural Zinc Oxide. I use this mask at least twice a week. It smells like heaven (a smell that reminds me of Lime starburst sweets) the mask is very cooling almost icey, being a clay mask this mask does dry, but doesn’t completely dry out like many other masks. Leave on for 10-15 mins and then rinse off with warm water, your skin is left clean, plump and silky smooth :).  RRP £4.95

Amie Bright Eyes Very Gentle Eye Make-up Remover- 100% oil free this gentle makeup remover removes even the toughest of eye makeup and mascara. Key ingredients include Meadow Flower and Chamomile to soothe and decongest, Grape Water to calm and cleanse and cooling cucumber to hydrate, soften and refresh. I like to apply this to two pieces of cotton pads and allow it to sit on the eyes for around 30 secs, this really allows the makeup to be melted but also provides a nice cooling mask for tired eyes. RRP £4.75

Amie Morning Clear Purifying Facial Wash- A delicate morning face wash which doesn’t leave your skin dry and stripped like most products. Morning Clear’s soap free formula workS in harmony with skin, not against it. Key ingredients include: Mayblossom known for its anti-bacterial action, Elderflower which helps to purify and decongest pores and Orange Blossom to control sebum production. This face wash is refreshing and does the job, your skin feels awake and clean!! RRP- £4.95

Amie Morning Dew Matte-finish Moisturiser- A matte moisturiser which leave skin hydrated and shine free. Key ingredients include: Organic Rosehip  to moisturise, Bilberry for Sebum control and Orange Blossom to clarify and control oily skin. Great moisturiser for oily skin types. A little goes a long way as with oily skin you do not need to use too much. RRP £4.95

Amie New Leaf Exfoliating Polish-  A moiturising but gentle face exfoliator which contains Bamboo beads and Jojoba Beads that gently cleanse deep into the pores whist smoothing away the dead skin cells left on the surface. Say hello to a non dull complexion with this amazing uplifting exfoliator. Packed with a moisturiser so it doesn’t dry out the skin. Key ingredients include: Mango seed and Cocoa seed which softens and moisturises the skin and Orange Blossom to clarify and control oily and congested skin. I recommend to use this product at least twice a week to see the maximum benefits. Apply on damp skin using gentle circular movements. RRP £4.75

The Amie skincare range is a brilliant range which uses skin friendly ingredients. It’s an amazing range for young skin and an easy range for those wanting to maintain healthy skin. I would recommend that all mothers buy this range for their teenagers, the price is very reasonable for the quality you receive.

Please do let me know if you test out the range, I would love feedback on how you got on. If you are already a user of the brand let me know your thoughts. 😉

Amie skincare is available to buy at John Lewis, Waitrose, Superdrugs and Boots. Also available at www.amieskincare.com

Living Nature’s Vitalising Cleanser contains some real hero ingredients which is why I find this cleanser so appealing. Vitalising Cleanser is formulated with moistursing Active manuka Honey which as we all know is known for its antiseptic and soothing properties, Kumerahou for its natural cleansing properties and totarol known for its antioxidant benefits.

I have been using this cleanser for a few weeks now, I really wanted it to settle in before writing a review. Firstly the smell is amazing, its  a real treat to smell when you have just woken up, it reall does awaken your senses. The texture is soft but lets not forget this is a cream cleanser. I’m a big fan of cream cleanser’s I find they are more kind to your skin, other types of cleansers can leave your skin feeling stripped and dry. I use this cleanser morning and evening and have noticed it works very well on melting makeup off your face, any good cleanser should be able to do this!! It’s very gentle and is recommended for all skin types including sensitive and Eczema prone skin. My skin is fresh and feels alive after using this! It is recommended to rinse this cleanser off or wipe with a tissue?? Come on Living Nature a Skincare company of your standard should not be asking it’s clients to wipe off their cleansers with a piece of tissue so I propose you start selling the cleanser with a small sponge, also I do think Living Natures Prices could be slightly lowered, I do realise we are paying for quality but £19 is a little too steep I think. Other than that this range is WOWZA!!!

Living Nature  do NOT use any synthetic preservatives or parabens in their products. They are simply passionate about Nature and bringing you the best in skincare. I’m very excited about this New Zealand born range and will be asking to review much more!!

I received the ‘Cupcake’ mask from Lush yesterday and seen as though it has a 3 week shelf life  as it is freshly made I had myself a little pampering session with it.

The smell is gorgeous, I just wanted to eat it. It contains ingredients such as Rhassoul Mud which has a natural foaming, de-greasing action which acts as a natural shampoo to cleanse the skin and Cocoa powder and spearmint which both work in harmony with the Rhassoul Mud to remove dirt and leave your skin feeling refreshed.

The product needs to be kept refrigerated. Apply evenly to the face and rinse of after 10 minutes. If you don’t like mess then this mask is not for you. The mask dries very quickly so when you are rinsing it off it gets all yucky and peels off and your bathroom will be a n a bit of a state afterwards. The texture of the mask is bitty almost like you have crush a fruit and nut chocolate bar and put it on your face. After rinsing the mask off you do notice how smooth your face looks. I would recommend this mask for teenage skin as it really helps to rid excess oil and helps  with break outs. In all I think its worth the fuss and mess, the results are great 🙂

Lush Cupcake – £4.95 (Make sure you keep this in the fridge and please not it only has a 3 week shelf life) www.lush.co.uk
