Orly is a professional, fashion forward and fun brand, with over 150 colours to choose from there’s something for everyone. ORLY originates from the US where it was launched in 1975 and is now available in 60 countries.

A little something you didn’t know: owner of ORLY Jeff Pink is in fact the creator of the famous ‘French Manicure’. Whilst working on film sets and catwalk shows in paris during the 1970s, Jeff created a natural look that would suit all costume changes. In honour of his love for Paris he named his new discovered look ‘The French Manicure’.

There is a vast range of colours available to suit everyone including fun colours for young girls. The  varnish paints on well and lasts a good amount of days before chipping, however I do advise a top coat to be applied as a soak in the bath speeds up the paint chipping.

Priced at £8.75 each. For stockist please visit www.orlybeauty.co.uk.

This is my all time favorite nail polish by Jessica, more a summer colour but I love it! It’s such a fabulous shade which is very unusual for me because I hate pink. In fact I never even chose this myself, I was introduced by a family member and have a been hooked ever since.  If you’re looking for a yummy, fun and funky colour try this out.

I’m a huge fan of Jessica, the colours are amazing and long lasting, the brush is lovely and soft and glides really well for that streak free finish. Not many people have heard of Jessica, I really recommend trying it out.

The picture doesnt actually give it much justice its a lot more lustrous than the image.

WOWZA….. these are fabulous, I love the crystals on the cap, very festive indeed. These are limited edition Nails Inc and are £15 each. Shiny and sparkly isnt really normally my thing, but I kind of melted and gave in after seeing these, they are way too cool!!

Colours from the left- Henrietta Street, Bow Street and Warwick Avenue. (How cool are the names?) Again another great christmas stocking filler.

Barry M Nail Polish

barry m

I had never tried Barry M until recently. The makeup artist I work with and my good friend Chantelle is always turning up to my Photoshoot’s with the most amazing Polish colours on her toes and nails. When I ask her what brand she is wearing she replies “Barry M”.. So considering she is a MAC makeup artist I assume that Barry M is a really expensive range up there with the likes of OPI and Jessica, to my surprise it wasnt. Barry M nail polish can be found in boots and superdrugs and is a really inexpensive range at around £2.00 each. Talk about recession bargain and the best thing it’s actually a really good nail polish that glides on really well and is long-lasting, the brush is really smooth and long just what you need for those neat brush strokes.

Barry M nail Polish comes in a wide range of colours for all seasons and they have just won Instyle magazine’s 2009 best beauty buys for ‘Best Inexpensive Nail polish range’

go check out there winter colours, they are truly yummy.

A fan of MAC makeup? Tune in while I speak to MAC makeup artist Chantelle where she will be telling all about MAC’s new up and coming range and her top tips and favorites.
